The Cascade Festival Ballet presents Ballet’s Got Style

On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June 2018, the Cascade Festival Ballet invites dance lovers to step inside a dancer’s mind as they present Ballet’s Got Style: Passion & Style — Complete Devotion to the Art at the Queen’s Hall.

Founded in 1996 by Caroline Potter-Vilain as the performing company of the Bentley Potter School of Dance, the Cascade Festival Ballet is renowned for their top-class dance presentations — complete with beautiful music, glamorous costumes, and elegant stage sets — and this June is sure to be no exception.

Named for its studios in the heart of Cascade, the company brings to local audiences traditional classical ballet as well as varying styles of dance based on the classical technique. Ballet’s Got Style includes a range of diverse dance pieces, showcasing some of the many styles in the company’s classical repertoire. Guitarist Stefan Roach joins the dancers with his romantic Spanish flare, interspersed with a Spanish dance, hoe down, a Russian polonaise, and a soaring Johann Strauss medley of 19th century waltzes.
